DC Engineers is a full-service AEC practice — Architecture, Engineering & Construction — based in Athens and Andros, Greece.
We provide the complete range of professional services required to take a building project from initial concept to completed, legally registered construction: architectural design, structural and civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, topographic surveying, building permit processing, construction, and site supervision. Every discipline is present within the firm. Every stage of a project is managed under a single professional roof.
Our offices in Athens and on the island ofAndros give us operational presence across both the Greek mainland and the Cyclades. In addition to our Greek practice, we hold registered business entities in the United Kingdom and the United States, enabling international clients to engage us within familiar legal and contractual frameworks.
Our Disciplines
A complete building project requires the coordinated input of multiple engineering disciplines. At DC Engineers, these are not outsourced when needed — they are part of the practice.
Architecture Architectural design grounded in the functional requirements of the client, the regulatory parameters of the site, and the bioclimatic principles appropriate to the Greek climate. For projects in traditional settlements and island environments, we have direct experience with the specific aesthetic and planning requirements that apply.
Civil & Structural Engineering Full structural design and calculation in compliance with current Eurocode standards and Greek seismic requirements. Foundation design, reinforced concrete, steel and timber structures, and structural assessment of existing buildings.
Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical installation, solar energy systems, and building services design — integrated from the earliest design stage rather than added at the end.
Topography & Surveying Boundary surveys, topographic mapping, cadastral work, and the survey documentation required for building permit submission and land registry registration.
Construction Supervision Licensed site supervision by qualified engineers, ensuring that construction proceeds in accordance with approved permits and technical specifications. Critical stages are inspected and documented systematically throughout the build.
How We Work
Our preference is to engage with a project from its earliest stage and to maintain that engagement through to completion. This is not a commercial preference — it is a professional one.
When the same firm that designs a building also engineers it, permits it, and supervises its construction, the continuity of professional intent is maintained across every phase. Decisions made at the design stage are carried through to the construction stage by the people who made them. The gap between what was intended and what was built is, in our experience, narrowest when the same team is responsible for both.
We take on projects we can manage with the level of attention they require. We do not overextend.
Our Work
Our completed project portfolio spans residential construction across Athens and the Greek islands — private houses, multi-unit developments, island complexes, bioclimatic new builds, and renovations. Projects have been delivered in Athens and its suburbs, and on the islands of Andros, Mykonos, Paros, Tinos, and others.
International Clients
A significant part of our practice serves clients based outside Greece. We work with buyers, investors, and property owners from the United Kingdom, across Europe, and from the United States — including members of the Greek diaspora undertaking projects in Greece.
We hold a registered company in England and Wales and a registered LLC in Ohio, United States. International clients may contract and make payments through either entity. All communication, documentation, and reporting is conducted in English.
Professional Standing
All engineering work is carried out by licensed members of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE — Τεχνικό Επιμελητήριο Ελλάδος). DC Engineers carries professional indemnity insurance across all disciplines and operates in full compliance with Greek engineering licensing and regulatory requirements.
