Project Description
Three contemporary Mediterranean residences on the Andros coastline, designed with the principle of complete integration into the natural topography and minimization of visual footprint.
The design strategy is based on the complete disappearance of volumes within the natural terrain — from the rear and above, the buildings remain invisible, while revealing deep-shaded openings towards the sea.
Buildings 1 & 2 — Subterranean residences with basement (205 sqm each)
Subterranean residences organized over two levels. Main level of 125 sqm with open-plan living/dining and kitchen space, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, second bedroom/office, guest WC, and semi-outdoor dining pavilion with stone walls. Basement with spaces enjoying pool views through underwater windows, fitness room, laundry, and technical areas.
Each residence is protected by a 3-meter horizontal overhang creating deep shade throughout the day. Floor-to-ceiling transparent frames disappear completely, uniting interior and exterior space. The infinity pools feature side viewing windows towards the basement spaces, in geometric lines.
Building 3 — Residence with basement (120 sqm)
Ground-level residence with planted roof creating the impression of subterranean construction. Main level of 60 sqm consisting of open-plan living/dining and kitchen space and master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Extended semi-outdoor dining area reaching the property boundaries. Basement with spaces enjoying pool views through underwater windows, and technical areas.
T-shaped infinity pool with side viewing windows towards basement spaces, in geometric lines, and architectural language consistent with the other buildings on the property.
