Project Description
The project involves the construction of four residences, each with a basement and a swimming pool.
Great attention has been given to integrating all structures into the landscape, which is why the development includes both a cave and a ground-floor building. The morphology of the plot is unique, as it is located downhill from the provincial road, with a rocky and sloping terrain where the cave building will be constructed. The architectural design of the buildings and the surrounding landscape were developed in parallel.
The composition was carefully designed to meet modern living standards while blending harmoniously into the local traditional environment through the use of natural materials.
The first building, K1, accommodates two residences, each developed on a single level. Each residence consists of an open-plan living space (living room, kitchen, and dining area), two bedrooms, and a bathroom.
Due to the underground construction, an atrium has been designed for one of the residences, as the shape of the buildable area dictated the placement of the bedrooms at the rear of the building, entirely within the ground. The atrium provides natural lighting and ventilation to these rooms. Additionally, there is a vertical access point at the rear of K1, with a staircase allowing quicker access to the entrance/exit of the property along the provincial road to the south.
Each residence’s main courtyard is located opposite the property’s entrance, facing north, where both swimming pools are situated. To enhance privacy between the two residences, multiple planted areas (planters) have been incorporated between them. The roof of the cave structure is also planted, blending seamlessly with the natural slope.
The second building, K2, has ground-floor layout and accommodates two residences, each consisting of an open-plan living area (living room and kitchen) and three master bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The basement levels, in addition to being internally connected to the ground floor via staircases, also feature independent external access.
The courtyard areas of each residence are located towards the north, where the two swimming pools are positioned. To ensure greater privacy between the two residences, additional planted surfaces (planters) have been strategically placed.
